| Wow besides being very beautiful the guitar exudes a lot of Class. Marlin built some great Steels. That Steel is a real Showpiece. Some museum curator should grab this gem. |

I saw this guitar at the Washington, PA show last weekend. It is gorgeous. Clean as a whistle too. The lucky guy or gal who buys this axe should expect to spend at least a few minutes wiping my drool off it.

The set up is "Day" . Only 2 knees. L.Kn. L. lowers E's and R.Kn.R. raises only the 4th string E . Kinda crazy but who knows how they set 'em up back then ?
The C6 is standard with the "BooWah" on the end . Pedal number 8 .
I'll post some pics of the undercarriage ASAP .
Just looked in the case and found copies of the original paper work . According to the copedent chart there were 4 knees when purchased . So the original owner took them off or decided he didn't need them after the order was placed . Maybe the pics will show something .
It does also have the "Speedy West" bar, vol. pdl. and case . All the "Speedy West " logos are in tact . Usually I find these and they are broken .

beautiful...that's what a steel guitar should look like.
one of the first memories i have of steel was seeing a beautiful purple sho-bud professional through the window of leo's downtown oakland. i thought it looked like a custom car!
then i had an acid trip back in my early playing days which i hallucinated while playing my old black and shiny metal p/p that i was driving a hotrod through mexico (!) |

I guess it's only obvious if you know what you are looking at Chris. Being a relative newbie at the PSG I have never seen the underside of a pull/release before so was not sure what I was looking at other than a truly beautiful axe.

| You're right John, it is a beautiful color. My comment about not being the right shade of teal was a joke in reference to a teal green guitar I bought from Rick a few weeks ago. I told him that I used to be a steel player, but now I am a "teal" player! All joking aside, though, this is a great guitar at a great price, and you won't find a better guy to deal with than Rick Troyer. |
