The book is the most exhaustive and authoritative work yet published. By that I mean that there is nothing else you need to know, unless you're interested in finding another way to interpret history. Buy it. It's beautiful.

Hey Brad,

That's my guitar on the back cover of the book. Did you check out the pics on the earlier topic I put up?

Gibson Ultratone - 1949?

Still not sure what to ask for it when I put it up for sale....or whether to spend some time first sprucing it up. It hasn't been played since about 1952 or so, 'cause that's when my friend cut his right thumb off in a turnip cutter which pretty much ended his playing steel.
