David,

I sent you an e-mail about the taping.

The last I heard the tape was sold out. Maybe you could shoot T.W. an e-mail, he might be able to hook you up.

I burned a DVD copy for myself, too. Haven't heard about an official DVD release though.

Kind Regards, Walter

I bought the VHS years ago and have stolen quite a few licks off of it. Mind you, that doesn't make me a Lloyd or a Tommy! Good luck, David!

You have to look twice to be sure Tommy is still playing E9 on Roly Poly! I checked with Tommy before getting a copy from eBay and at the time he said there were no plans to make more copies. If there were no objections, perhaps the rest could be put on YouTube?

I never got to see the video but, I was there at the Bell Cove that night they recorded it. Talk about magic in the air!!! Their performance was outstanding.

I have just watched this through again for the 3rd time..

You know, E9th playing really does not get any better than this. It is without a doubt the most wonderful playing I have ever heard, and seen, in my life.

They should both do it again in St Louis this year! ?

I have this one on VHS. I thought everybody had this one but as it turns out, a whole bunch don't.

This tape should be in everyone's arsenal.

I'm with you David! Lloyd is awesome but Tommy to me has no equal! He never gets the credit deserved for how good he is! The best in the world playing today!

If anybody knows where i can get a copy let me know! Checked ebay but couldn't bring anything up!

Tommy is a good friend and i talk with him over email. He said it was out of print and out of stock. Last place he knew was ebay!

Thanks for sharing this and hope it gets to stay out there!!

Tommy is incredible, as usual, but his and most every other younger player's debt to Lloyd Green is unquestionable. One of the most touching aspects of the video is Tommy's obvious deep respect for Lloyd.

Dead on Peter! Didn't mean that we all didn't owe more than we could re-pay to Lloyd, Buddy and for that matter Tommy as well!

In 1971 Lloyd's records was all i worked on and still today!

I have all his albums! They still play and when he did "I Can Help" i flipped over that one!

I would just love to hear more on Tommy on the cuts being released today! Get tired of the same old players being used on everything!

I have played An Evening of E9th for some of my melodic metal buddies. They have all been mesmerized by it!
