I need a new fret board for my 70s Sho-Bud 10 string. The guitar is candy apple red and I think a white or off white would look great but I'll consider any other color as well..anyone got a brand new one?? is there any such thing? its a 24" scale ...17 7/8 long...3 1/4 at the pick up end and 2 7/8 at the other.please post photo if you can. Cool

I don't follow--are you looking for something other than a Sho-Bud board? Tom Bradshaw sells good repro Bud boards:

Hank; I think Bobbe Seymore is your best bet. He bought the old shobud factory stock years aggo. I noticed your question on size & scale of a used board. All Shobuds were built to 24 in. scale except specially ordered. I know of only 3 that have 24 1/4 scale. As before, check with Bobbe; he'll porbably have either one, Andy H.

Thanx guys, I will follow those links. I am more into something custom than original, although original is great as well. size wise ?? I just want it to fit on the neck right. Its good to know 24" scale is standard.
Happy Pick'n, Hank

Fred's right again. I think Bobbe even had some of the white fretboards.
