Mom lived to be 92 and dedicated her life to Jesus and her family.

One of the things Mom did was give me accordian lessons and paid for them by babysitting during the day. Although steel guitar was my passion the accordian lessons gave me a better understanding of where I would eventually go.

Mom is in Heaven now with Dad who passed away in 1985.

Miss you Mom and Dad and thanks for the sacrifices you both made for your family. Mom and Dad you are the best!

Please say a prayer for them.

Dennis, what a nice tribute to your Mom's memory and what she felt was important obviously affected you a very positive way! My Mom also started me on accordion as she also played. Sounds like your Mom lived a great long fulfilled life.

Dennis,

My prayers are with you. My mother went to be with The Lord this past May, 2008.

About this time last year in March, I was on school break and went and spent a couple of really great days with her. I will always be thankful that I did that, for right after that she started going down hill and even though she celebrated her 88 birthday on April 30th but passed on to glory the 15th of May.

A mother's love is special and unique! Nobody, no human that is, loves their child in the way that a mother does.

I want to share a scripture verse with you. It is from the book of Psalms from the Bible.

Psalm 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints."

May GOD bless and comfort you now! In Jesus Christ's name, Amen!

Dennis,

Please accept my condolences. I know the emptiness we feel when we lose a parent in our earthly world. She sounds like a wonderful lady.

God bless,
Donna Dodd

Dear Dennis,

My sincere condolences to you and Family in the loss of your Mother.

I can identify and I'm sure so can many others that were blessed with such great parents.
My first guitar was at the age of six when my parents surely could not afford to buy it though, it was actually a non -playable instrument, but to me it was as if it was made of pure gold it made me so happy and kept alive the love of music in me.
The Gold was in their Hearts I have long since learned.
The Lord no doubt has welcomed them all with his Loving arms just as they did for us.
May he Bless you and yours at this time.

Loren
