Emmons Lap steel Body. SS-8 Mahogany. Ready to build. Built by the great Tom Lashley in the 70's.

I had an SS8 (late '60s -early '70s). I think it was a push/pull, sounded great... 3 or 4 pedals no knees...

Joe, I made a mistake. It's not an SS-8 but an LS-8 8 string lap steel. Sorry for the mix up.

Oh my! Hadn't thought about Tom and Tency Lashley in a long time. Two of the finest people God ever created. Ate many a meal and watched Nashville now with them at their home several times a week. For many years Tom built the bodies, all of those laquer push-pulls. He also came up with the idea of putting the spring in the end of the crossbars. While I was there in the 90's he also made many of the small parts such as, set collars, pedal rod ends, nylon tuners, and nut rollers. A very fine machinest. Bryan, thanks for reminding me of their graciousness.
