I hate to hear this. I used to do a bit of drinkin with Dewey down at the Palomino in the late 70s/early 80s. Not many people know that he was a great R&B soul singer with a voice and delivery similar to Bob Mosley from Moby Grape. Nice guy too.

I only knew his work with Buffalo Springfield. Sorry to hear this news, not only for him and his family and friends, but because each loss like this (and Tom Brumley's) is a sign that I'm getting older. (I know that sounds selfish, and I guess it probably is, but I'll bet I'm not the only one...)

I worked for Dewey playing steel guitar on demos for his little production company,What a nice guy he will be sadly missed,I would always try to get him to play drums on the sessions but he would say that he hadn't played in a long time...bummer..Oh yeah I got bit by Dewey's Doberman,The one who wouldn't hurt a fly Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
