How are you patching in your DDL, EQ and volume pedal? _________________ No Avatar only a picture of my Mentor. |

IMHO take the EQ out for now and turn off the DDL.
Try to get a tone you like with just the EQ on the 212.
I find that if I roll off the treble on the amp I get better control of my high notes, without them taking my head off.
Once I’m close and feel like playing a song then I’ll add a touch of DDL.
Run the amp a little hotter than the room needs and I play on the back third of the pedal.
This gives me room to FEED the DDL for that sustain sound.
