Many Peavey's do not have an extension speaker jack. The Nashville 400 does not have one. The Nashville 1000 does not have one. |

Some Peaveys have a 4 ohm speaker and the amp is not designed to drive at lower ohms so it could damage the amp using an external speaker cab. _________________ MASGA, Mullen G2, Hilton, Evans, Webb, Walker |

We have included an external speaker jack on some of our amplifiers, however, what the end consumer doesn't realize is that this does add extra cost to the amp from a manufacturers viewpoint. There are reasons that we don't offer this feature, ie; extra cost for the output transformer is the biggest. We've realized that 99% of the purchasers do not use an external speaker cab anyway. We do not feel that by adding this cost to the product, that every purchaser should have to pay for it, especially given that many will not use it anyway.
Besides, we do include a pre amp output jack on just about every guitar/steel guitar amp that we design. |
