I was wondering if Ron and Rebecca had a booth at the convention ? If so were there very many Emmons guitars there in their booth ? Just curious . G.P.

Gary,
Ron and Rebecca were there, and they brought three steels with them. One D10 in a beautiful Pecan mica, one D10 in Saphire Blue, and one SD10 in classic black!

The Blue D-10 was Mike "Cookie" Jones' to be picked up by him, I heard.

I saw three guitars at the Emmons booth, and I believe only the pecan mica D10 was still available by Saturday evening. I know the black SD10 LG II sold very quickly. I talk to Ron Jr. a bit on Saturday night, and he meant to bring another SD10 but in the end only brought the third D10 with him. All 3 guitars looked great. It is, however, difficult if not impossible to try a guitar in the main ballroom. I would have liked to try one of the Emmons guitars for sure.

Chris, didn't you know that the Emmons company not only had a large booth in the inside of the hall but also had a display room outside the hall? You could have easily played on one of their guitars in that room. It was the Field room. Here is a list of the display rooms in order from around the corner from the Convention registration booth.

Lewis Room - Clark Room - Field Room - Laclede Room

Thanks, Scotty. I don't know how I missed that room. I was pretty much haunting the halls day and night. Smile

Last year it was only open briefly, no one in there all the time like the other ones.
