This whiny thing is really getting on my nerves again. It sounds like doo doo whenever I touch it. Last time this happened I hid it away but it got out and bit me a couple of weeks later. This time I think I'll have to take it out back and shoot it.

Earnest,

Maybe you should change your strings. By the time that you have blown the dust bunnies out, oiled everything and polished the unmentionable parts it will only have taken you 3 or 4 hours and $20. That is assuming that you don't keep having to stop and recharge the drill/zap-it gizmo. Oh, I forgot, add another 30 minutes for getting the new strings to hold pitch. Then all those stale licks that you were playing will sound so much brighter and . . . stale. But what the heck, I mean, you still managed to waste a lot of time. You could just get a beer and go look at alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.biker-chicks instead. . .

When he was having trouble with a story,
he took his Remengton Selectric typewriter
out back and shot it with his 45.

Your original post reminded me of that~~

When my little sister was a teenager she sent me a photo of herself with Dr. Thompson. I'm glad he didn't have trouble with her. How would you feel if it was your sister with him?

I took the George L pickup out of there and put in a low budget Lawrence model. It sounds better today.
Tone is in the hands anyway.

Gaffney caller, and now once again I have to take off my pajamas, put on some clothing, and try to drag my sorry, tired, pathetic ass out the door to some godforsaken hell hole where I will wear earplugs to blot out the sound of my steel guitar.
