Well, our Boys & Girls are ready to stretch out and do a little pickin at our upcoming April meeting. So we're gonna do it up right, and all of you are invited! Come one, Come all to the NTSGA Pickin Party Showcase, sponsored by the North Tennessee Steel Guitar Association. This will be Tuesday April 4th at the Bell Cove Club Marina in Hendersonville, TN from 7 till 10pm. Many of our NTSGA members are Nashville's finest Steel Players and we want to show them off. Johnny Cox is lining every up for us and heres who we already have scheduled.

John Hughey
Jim Vest
Stu Basore
Mikey Douchette
Johnny & Joan Cox
David Spires
Smiley Roberts
Even yours truly
and many of our others
(Our own "Jeff Peterson" who plays for The Clint Black Band was scheduled to play, but he has found out they are on the road that week)

That's too cheap. Especially for that lineup. At least make it $5 per person! (What does a solo person pay... $2.50??)

Hey Jim,
The cover charge is also $5 if you come alone. Since this is on a weeknight and our regular monthly meeting we don't really expect many outsiders like yourself to show up, but if you do be sure and bring a ABE LINCOLN with ya. It's just an extra $5 donation the club members are making up to pay for some backup muscians that night. Our wives wanted to come so we decided to make it 5 bucks a couple.
You right however. . .it is cheap for such a terrific team of players, but it's our first playing event and were trying to promote the club and let some others see whats in store for the future. I'm sure next time will be quite different. Too bad you're not down in this area with us. Nick
