There will be a show on March 19th in Middletown, Ohio at the Miami Valley Opry, 1226 Central Ave. from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. This show features guitarist Scotty Anderson and myself, Herby Wallace along with Jerry Stemper and his fine band. If you haven't heard Scotty Anderson, I must say that he is one of the finest guitarists of our time. The admission is only $12.00 per person. For further info or reservations, call 513/423-9477.

Herby,

See you there! I'm 12 miles south in West Chester.

I wish I could be there. Scotty Anderson is known as the master of the double stop in Arlen Roth's "Masters of the Telecaster."

My friend, Ed Harper, told me that the last performance by Scotty and Herby together at this show was incredible.

This Sunday, March 19, 2000! Someone should record this event: The Master of the Mullen and a Master of the Telecaster playing together!

Scotty is bringing his band and will play a set. Herby will play a set with the local band and then Scotty and Herby will jam together.

If you are within driving distance, then you do not want to miss it. I wish I were.

Middletown is about half-way between Cincy and Dayton. Around Exit 32 on I-75.

Herby says that Scotty plays double stops (two notes in harmony together) faster than many players can play single-string riffs!

I'm going to give the family a choice: Work in the yard, or come with me to Middletown.

Frank, we're always looking for good IT and business consultants if a Musketeer wanted to get back closer to Middletown.

PS: Although my profile says "Cincinnati", I'm actually north of there which puts me closer to Middletown. I just get tired of answering, "Where in the hell is West Chester, OH".
