My western swing band, Beats Walkin', will be doing an hour-long worldwide web-cast, internet concert on Friday, Dec 10th from 7-8pm eastern time, on WXPN radio (which is 88.5 FM in the Philadelphia area). It's a swingin' holiday show, called "Beats Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland", and we'll be doing a bunch of fun swing tunes, including a debut of our new original tune, called "I'm Gettin' Nothin' for Christmas". (Those of you familiar with our CD will know this comes from the same twisted mind as "On-Line Lover"). They'll be interviewing us too, in between songs, and chances are we'll give all the credit to Uncle b0b and the steel guitar Forum. And if you're the fifth caller...
Come give a listen; the url is www.xpn.org One important note: To listen in to the streaming broadcast, you need to have already installed the microsoft windows Media Player V6.4. If you don't have that yet, download it in advance from the WXPN website (url above). Enjoy!

Bringing this topic back up.
If you tune in earlier I think there will be numbers from Asleep At the Wheel who are stopping at the end of a feww days of touring.

Show is today, 7pm East coast time. (What is that in Australia... Wednesday or somethin'?) Point your browsers: ready, aim, fire!

Asleep at the Wheel will just be coming out of that studio as we go in, so who knows... maybe we can persuade Cindy to play twin steels with us?

See ya's!
