I myself am a "southpaw". Never knew there were reverse style instruments, so... since i was a kid I've always played "righty".(6 string, etc.) But... everyone has their own preference.
This guitar, IMHO, has a place in PSG history,(late, great, Mr. Stadler) however, it's just too big and heavy for my physical ailments, so I lose a few bucks, and move on.
Good luck in your search

Hello Rick, I was born and raised in Bergen County, NJ. Is it possible to get a few pics of the top of the guitar. IMO some of the best music was played on a Marlen. Im no C6 player, but Im not affraid of it either. This guitar has been around for a while now.Suprised it's still for sale.
Please forward pics and any other imperative info to my e-mail at your earliest convenience. Im interested. Thank you for your time. Chuck

Hello Ron, your right and thats exactly why Im interested. She is old and heavy though. Looks to me by the pics that a face lift might be in the near future. There is an older gentelnam on you tube that plays a D-10 Marlen and that guitar has the sound we all should have. Not to mention the man is master.
Be well. Chuck. |

Hey fellas,
Chuck
- There a few good nicks in between the necks, which I did not do,not major, with some hairline cracks in the original lacquer, near the pups. I will try to post more pics of the top, today, although they are fairly represented in the pics you see now. The case has one broken latch, and a new liner.
Ron-
You are correct. This guitar has the "tone". It's my 1st PSG,I've got 14 months in, but I recognize that "golden era" sound. I believe the pups are original, and it has the 5 position selector switch, 2 for each pup, and 1 for both "on", which gives 3 tones for each neck.
BTW: It's approximately 70 lbs in the case
Ben-
I did not receive the PM, please try again
Thanks to all

Hi Chuck,
Funny thing about C6.
You start out messing around non-pedal, and before you know it, you're using a few pedals.
I'm not great at it, but I can pick out a tune or three

Glad you like!
Needs a little TLC...but I realize I'm NOT what I once was, so I'm not gonna tweak it. All pulls and lowers work fine, and return in tune.
I'm offering it for about 68% of what I paid.(15 months ago) Stupid/or not,I gotta move on.
I do hate to part with it sometimes.
Too all who asked: (PM-ed)
YES IT'S STILL AVAILABLE
thanks

Thanks Rick. Good luck, if it doesn't go let me know. Wish I'd been a little faster on the draw.
