Just talked to Barney we, he will turn my 1000 into a Miller "top neck" into a miller rebuilt Keyless. the bottom neck will remain as is to use Don Helms tunning for his style playing of songs the "OLD WAY" As Jeff says "Just Play The Melody". Did you know there is a following that want to hear it done as was years ago. So The Fender sound, I have a Fender amp I may use for this project. The Fender top neck will be a 3 x 5.
This sounds good to me a 25" scale Fender 1000, with a mix of Keyless and Fender sound. Stay tuned in for results.
