He does work for many different steel makers.
If you have one, let's see it! I'll start with a couple (even though they're not mine).

I have nothing fancy to post here, but what a great idea for a thread! My top post so far for 2008 (OK, it is early). I was told by one guitar builder that Mark gets either just the dimensions of the end plates or perhaps just a set of endplates from the guitar maker and goes from there for each brand of guitar.

Here's the beautiful cabinet Mark built for my MSA Legend. This was the first one of this color and without a color name at that time. We decided to call it Cinnamon Red. Thanks Mark Giles

Here's both of my laquer ones. Not sure if Mark had anything to do with them, but I thought I'd let you guys see them.

Why?? You know Mark didn't have anything to do with those bodies.

I suspect Herb's boots were made by the Austin Hall Boot Co. Had a couple similar pair made up years ago myself Very Happy

Jeff, thanks for the notice! Wink

Kevin, the boots are Tony Lama, part of their now-discontinued "Americana" series. They came in different color overlays. I have, in addition to the black/red lizard you see, also a pair of black/natural python.

I got them years ago, but only wear them for stage use.

Back on topic, y'all!! Cool

That's funny, Herb, I wear normal shoes to play in, don't feel as nimble-footed in boots, and switch to boots to dance with the perty ladies on break!

Nice boots!...someone start a boots thread, please.

I'd be scared to death to own and play one of Mark's cabs. They are so beautiful, if I dented it or scratched it, it would be like shredding the Mona Lisa.

Mark is a true artist.

I've said it before. Your Legend is as beautiful a guitar that I could imagine. I bet a D10 would also look great in the same finish.
