Her are some pictures of the seniors attending the dance every Friday night, from 7:00 till 11:00, in Quitman ga. It is a 185 mile drive 2 times a week for this gig, love every mile it is worth it to see the joy on the face of the people and recieve their hugs for being there.
I am not in the band picture had to take the Picture, but my guitar is posted ready to go. Hope you enjoy seeinf these youngsters having a good time.

Great photos, Ernie. Lots of smiling faces, looks like a nice bunch of folks.
Couldn't you find a larger drink cup?
Thanks for sharing the pics and the story.

I had the priviledge of sitting in on Steel at the Quitman Dance back in March. Ernie was gracious enough to let me play with his band all night. It's such a neat place to go to and the people there were all so friendly. They really made us feel at home.
I can't wait to get down their again next winter.
