Here's a couple.
The first is my old friend and guitar hero (Al Bruno) and I jamming with the band at "The Barn" in Surrey, Va.
Next is a shot of the "Jack Bateman Band" at a dance for the Friday Night Friends of Country Music in Hampton, Va.
The next one is myself, my wife Kay, and Walt Novak doing a dinner gig at a local restaurant. Walt's in his mid seventies but he can sing a Merle Haggard tune as good as anyone I've heard.
The last one is of the Dallas Band at a gig in Chesapeake, Va. I can't find any good steel guitar shots so most of these are on lead guitar.....

......JH in Va.

I play with several, but this is one of my favorite pictures. You can see my left shoulder. And that's Wade Branch on the flat top.

This one is at Giddyups in way south Austin. A biker bar with a traditional band The Stepsiders.

This would be Don Lacey & Country Special... after this I made it a point to never work in a band that had the words Country or Nashville in its name.
Forum member Tommy Huff, 2nd from right on bass. We may be the only survivors. John Paul Jones, in the middle, an incredible Telly picker in the Roy Buchanan style left us last year.

This is the current band of music makers.
Mark Gandy has a couple of indy cd's out, and a Grammy nomination or two for INDY country music.
We rock the house!

Hi Shorty.. that must have been ahead of its time to have a banjo in an electric band? Kind of like Doug Dillard and the Byrds in 1968, but you did it before they did!! Surprised

I love all your photos!
I was wondering tho, do alot of you bands not have an actual "band photo"? you know, the ubiquitous 8x11 glossy with contact info on the bottom used for promo?
