Question for Cal Sharp...Did you ever know/work with a guitar player named Bobby Green from Augusta Ga.??He was working the road in the 70s.

Bill, I worked with a bass player named Bobby Green, but he was from Nashville.

Barry, you're right, that is Slim Pickens. I'll have to edit that. I don't think Whitman was one of Willie's pals. Smile

BELOW - Sammy Turner & The Karolina Kountry Band - Grandson on the floor, Jackson Turner. This was taken in a masonic lodge in Timmonsville, SC. I think I played guitar on this set.

BELOW - The Rimshot Band at the Foxtrot Festival in Marion, SC. May of 2007. RC on guitar/vocals, RJ Dorsey on drums (age 16!) me on steel, Bob Dorsey on keyboards/vocals & Elvis impersonator! (the guitar player sitting on his amp is Bill Carper, he doesn't usually play with us, thank the Lord.)

BELOW - Karolina Kountry Again, me on steel this time. Sammy Turner on bass. Joe Jacobs on guitar/vocals, Billy Altman on drums/vocals. Taken at a jam hall in Florence, SC.
