Need info. For making a desktop shortcut on IE8, all I have to do is right click on the icon in the address bar and drag it to the desktop. Then from the dropdown menu, click on create shortcut. On firefox this doesn't work. How do I create shortcuts using firefox ?

John;
It works for me in Firefox 3.0.13, by using the left mouse button to drag and drop the icon, or Favicon, from the Location Bar to the desktop, or an open folder window. Try using the left button for D&D operations.
