Is the this some form of E6th ? Does anyone use it ? What should the string gauges be ? Thanks. Ed

E6, yeah, can't answer your other questiona as I don't know which end is the bass-side (E or B)

please, nobody start the dread "right way" argument.

Try using a string gauge calculator like:
http://www.greenmanhumming.com/html/StringCalc/stringCalcX.html
Aim for about 32lbs to start

Ed, that's an E6th tuning, also known as C#m7th.
These gauges should work for you:

B - .018
G#- .020
E - .030
C#- .034
B - .038
G#- .046
E - .054

Looks like you could put a C# on top,.016,or put a F#,and have a nice chromatic.012,or.013.
