8x5. Tone machine, plays and tunes like a dream. Almost undetectable cabinet drop. Gary was very happy with this one, as am I. Great fit and finish. Delivered right on time and Gary is a super guy to work with. Many thanks.

Congratulations on your new Rittenberry. A very nice looking instrument. I'm in line to get a new one and I sure will be glad when it's finished.
How about a sound clip?

Al,
Great looking guitar!
I really like the diagonal pearl strip on the front.
Nice touch on a fine guitar.
I'm sure you'll love it. I do mine.

Al, I was in the Cookeville area today, and stopped in to see Gary for a few minutes. He asked if I had seen your post with the pictures of your guitar. I told him I had, but hadn't had a chance to post about it. It's a beauty for sure, and Gary said the drop was about one cent! Of course ALL of Gary's guitars sound great. I know you're loving it. |

Howdy, John. I did double duty on guitar and played an LDG back in the day in Austin and Dallas from 1976 to about 1982, when I sold some stuff off and got a 'real job' to support my growing family and music habit. The bug bit me again last year, real hard, and I'm pursuing with a vengeance. This is my first foray in to the C6th world, so I'll have something to work on the rest of my days. Prop me up next to the jukebox! Having a good playing instrument makes it all the more enjoyable. Hope to see you out and about. Thanks! _________________ Emmons P/P, Session 400, sundry 6 stringed and 4 legged critters, amps old & new |

Thanks, all you Rittenberry owners. I studied your photos and sound clips where available and they definitely influenced my decision to go with a Ritt and the design and style.
Hope to see you Gulf Coast guys out and about down Hwy 288 and 59. _________________ Emmons P/P, Session 400, sundry 6 stringed and 4 legged critters, amps old & new |

Actually Gary has been on a long, interesting journey and his guitars are in demand now more than they ever have been. His efforts to achieve the current tone have been deliberate and didn't happen by chance. He is an extremely knowledgeable builder when it comes to tone. |

Al, that's a real beauty for sure. Gary played it for me to hear
when he was almost finished with it, and what a fantastic sound.
I know you're gonna love it as much as the rest of us love ours.
Enjoy it my friend, and post something so we can hear you play it.

My radar did a spin when i heard Mr "Lucky" Kilmer , playing his Ritt on Youtube several months ago. I had never heard a Ritt played before and the tone will jump out and grab ya. I found a fellow selling his SD-10 Ritt so's he could get a D-10 and bought his. There's a picture of it on Gary's site. It was Dustin Cook's . I really like it.
