Awesome Stephen!

Anyone know who the steel player is on this one?

Looks like he has a pedabro in front of him as well. I can't make out what kind of steel it is.

Thanks.

Thats Carson Chamberlain I believe. He was playing a Franklin pedabro, maybe the only one built with an E9th neck to boot.

Hook, you are right on the money! That's Carson Chamberlain on steel, Mike Chamberlain on bass, and I believe it's Joey Schmidt on piano. Great artist and a great band!

You are correct, Tony! That is Carson on steel, Mike on bass, Joey Schmidt on keys, Randy Hayes on guitar and Bruce Rutherford on drums. Carson is now a successful producer/songwriter, Mike drives the band for Alan Jackson, Joey plays keys for Alan, Bruce plays drums for Alan, and Randy operates his own recording studio in McKee, KY.
Keith will be gone 18 years tomorrow (May 9, 1989). Country music lost one of the greatest singers of all time when Keith passed away.
