I am not familiar with either of these but I am sure many of you are. Any input as to the best? I know that there are lots of tracts available for BIAB not sure about PT |

Apples & Oranges! Pro-Tools is used to record "what" your playing and BIAB is used to create back up tracks from the chord progression you type into it. So, what do you want to do, record music or make tracks to play over? Both are some of the best at what they are designed for. I use BIAB to make tracks that I run onto my Boss 1180 digital recorder and they I overdub steel tracks there.

You can get multitrack recording with the new BIAB PowerPak. I haven't used it, though. _________________ Everyone in the world has two jobs: 1) whatever they do for a living; and 2) music critic. |
