The other musician is Gary Gimble; I'd like to see the drummer singing and Gary Gimble playing the up-tempo song he did. I was there that day; amazing. This duo might be at a jam in Pa in April; if I'm wrong someone please correct me. |

Hey Charles, I'm pickin around your area tonight at the Austin Grill, Silver Spring location. We go on at 930PM, get there early, this joint fills up fast.
Jamie, Buddy was a gentleman, he didn't hurt me too much, doesn't take much anyway...

Charles - I too was there that day, actually I played bass and Jim Hartley was on drums durring this video. This was a picnic held in Chuck Campbell's back yard in Virginia, no pressure, just jammin', eatin' and having fun. These guys together playing was a real highlight of the day.
You are corret that Gary and Buddy are playing at the 2007 Tri-State Steel Show April 21-22 in Washington, Pa (a little south of Pittsburgh). There is a thread in the Events section of the forum for more information. You don't want to miss this show. We all know Buddy is a great player but if you have never heard Gary your missing out. By the way Gary, I need charts to start working on your set for April when you get a chance. |
