Ok guys and gals. This one will blow you away.

It is from the original "live" broadcast of the Pet Milk Grand Old Opry. It was originally on film and still has the clock counter at the bottom of the screen.

One really cool thing is that the entire band was being picked up by one microphone.

The video has faded somewhat, but it is still "GOOD" stuff.

Buddy Charleton, Leon Rhodes, Jack Green, Jack Drake & ?? The Texas Troubadors.

Enjoy
Bill

PS: This is not a video from Scotty. I got this from a friend many years ago.

Great clip Bill, the only way it could be any better is, that Leon and Buddy could have played their entire arrangement of Steel Guitar Rag, which is the best arrangement of that tune that I have ever heard.
Keep'um coming Bill.

This video was made after mid 1961, since a friend of mine in South Dakota saw Buddy Emmons at the Sioux Falls Coliseum in early 1961 with Ernest Tubb and again in latter 1961 with Ray Price.
