I have had a great response via email about the video's I have uploaded.

I was asked to list them all in one place so here they are:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYrANqVLVrA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkcSxRCjz-Y
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFy6HVcqh4Y

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2214647422734564385

I hope to have some more up soon. I have a closet full of these. I will be uploading some great players from Stoney's Smokey Mountain Jubilee shortly. Stoney thinks it is great to be able to share this type music with other players, many who are unable to attend any steel guitar shows.

Let me know if you enjoy this stuff. If I get enough response, I will get myself in high gear and do this.

Thanks Bill for these great clips. You sure play with feeling. You add the human element essential in challenging this beautiful instrument. Keep 'em coming!

Just curious.
Between the YouTube & Google video's I have posted, there have been over 5000 viewings, yet very few responses on the forum.

So who's watching these? Is it forum members or just general YouTube/Google searchers?

Knowing helps me to know what else to upload.

Thanks
Bill

Bill.As a UK resident, and not a lot of steel players over here, you are providing a wealth of information to the likes of me who will maybe never get a chance to go to steel conventions and trade licks etc..im sure its the likes of myself who are loving what you are posting on youtube.BUT! I think you should title your clips PEDAL STEEL plus your title of clip..i look for pedal steel stuff and saw your stuff by accident...youll get more hits by doing that...keep em coming please!!

Graham,
That is a great idea. I actually thought I would get the most viewings from my postings on the forum, but it seems that might not be the case.
I am changing all the video's to include the word "pedal"

Thanks much Bill ! consider youself responded to...I have been fortunate in b eing able to attend a few steel guitar conventions here in Florida, and there is nothing like the music and spontaneity at those shows....keep 'em coming.

Bill, I have watched many of them several times so I get much of the credit, hahaha.

It is so cool for many of us that have never been to a show that featured our great instrument to see and hear the job that you and "your friends" can do. I wish I had some of those "friends."

All kidding aside, it is so great to see players of your stature with the all time greats sitting together and having a blast. It gives those of us thousands of miles away a glimpse of not only the talent but the personality of these great gentlemen. It is awesome to see the lack of ego and true respect that you all have for each other.

Please keep them coming.
Thanks,
Ken

Get In High Gear
We love this. As a beginner I can watch over and over the bar movements and pedals. Boy, is Buck Grantham smooth on bar use. That video is a whole seminar on bar control.
I am amazed at your ability to complement every singer you play behind. Thanks for all you do for the steelers.
May the Lord bless everything that you set your hands to do.
