Seattle's Experience Music Project Museum put out this beautiful large format book in the year 2000 titled: Crossroads: the Experience Music Project Collection. It's appx. 12" x 12", 200 pages, hardcover, and listed originally for $35.

This is a strikingly designed look at R&B, early rock & roll, 60's rock, punk, and hip hop with 200+ B&W and color photos of guitars, people, memorabilia, objects, posters, album covers, etc. Of particular interest to forumites is the section on early electric guitars with high-quality color photos of National, Rickenbacher, audiovox, and Gibson prototype steels including the lesser known contributions of Paul Tutmarc and a Hank Williams spread showing his hand-written lyrics.
