I think I am going to go the "tube route" to combine with my Nashville 112, so I have the following items:
1) Boss SE-50 multi effects, half rack space, 6 lbs. a few scuffs from mounting, manual and new memory battery $75 shipped in the lower 48.
2) Stewart PA-200 half rack power amp mint condition 6 lbs. 200 watts mono 100 watts per channel stereo. I bought this new and it has been used about 2 hours, with manual $175 shipped in the lower 48.(SOLD)
Thanks,
Dave [This message was edited by David Higginbotham on 20 January 2005 at 05:21 AM.] |

I've used an SE-50 for about 15 years and I really like it. It is very easy to program and sounds great with steel and guitar. I would grab this one if I didn't already have two of them.

Thanks for the bump Darvin! Your previous posts regarding the SE-50 is why I bought this one a while back, I just don't need it anymore since I am moving on to other projects. These are great sounding and easy to use units with 128 factory programs and 99 user programs. Here is a link to some reviews:

Dave, as you know that Stewart power amp is no slouch either. I'm keeping mine and going with a tube front end (BB and an Alembic pre). I like that clean & ample power and can get all the warmth at the front. |

Scott, I actually went a little different route with an Art parametric tube eq, Boss SE-50 for delay and reverb, a Peavey PV-500 amp, into two 1203-4's. I will see how that sounds when I get it all together. Thanks for the input!
Bob, please close this one. I will keep the Boss for now.
Thanks,
Dave |
