I'm relisting this because my prospective buyer doesn't feel that he can afford it right now. I understand how unexpected expenses can pop up, so no hard feelings & here it is again:

For Sale: An Evans FET Custom LV, serial # 8693. It has a new 4-ohm 15" Deltalite in it and I'll include the original Evan's Eclipse 4-ohm speaker that doesn't work. I’m including the original speaker because I‘m sure it can be repaired & I have no need for it now. This amp was serviced earlier this summer by the Evans Amplifier Company & works great. I can’t remember what the wattage is on this amp, but most steel players know that these are high wattage amps for a very clear tone.
There are three small tears in the tolex, one on the bottom, one on top and the worst one is on the rear edge on the left side. The worst tear can be glued down and I am going to do that before I ship the amp. I left it showing now so that I could get pics of it and represent the amp as it is with no cover-ups. Pics can be seen at this link: http://www.villagephotos.com/pubbrowse.asp?selected=1009961

I’m asking $500.00 & that includes shipping of the amp & extra speaker to the continental US.

Thanks,
Ed

Mike,

I tried to email you, but It won't send. I sent the same message to a friend of mine to check my system and he received it right away. He has the same server as I do. Maybe it's your server. Anyway, I'm no computer whiz, so why don't you call me at 319-470-8175. That's my cell phone.

Thanks,
Ed

Thanks Mike!!!

This amp has been sold, but could you please leave this post open for a while since my server will neither let Mike email me nor me email him for some reason $ since Mike doesn't want immediate shipment on the amp, I'd like to post here when I do ship it. A donation will be sent to the forum.

Thanks,
Ed

Mike,

I got your money order. Thank you very much. I sent the amp & the extra speaker out today via UPS. If you request me to post tracking numbers here on the forum, I will do so, but I didn't know if you wanted those numbers to be made public. If not, you can phone me for them.

I padded the amp real good for shipping and put some packing in the reverb pan so that it wouldn't get jarred around too much. To get to the reverb and remove the packing, you'll need to unscrew the top screw that's holding the little vinyl bag in place in the back of the amp. Then just pull the pan out of the bag. This involves taking off the top back cover. You probably already know all this, but thought I'd mention it just in case. Hope you enjoy the amp and can get the extra speaker fixed reasonably.

Let me know about the tracking numbers & feel free to call me any time.

Thanks again,
Ed
