Who did the steel? Probably another one for the FAQ. Sorry if it's been asked before. Heard it on the radio the other night. Still as purty as ever.

Thanks fella's, I kinda figured it was Big E, but I've been wrong before. It's one of them timeless passages (like Blue Bayou) that when you hear it you just stop what yer doin' (unless driving, of course) and let it all sink in...

There was a time I did stop what I was doing while driving in order to listen to Buddy. I literally pulled off to the side of the road when Buddy's "Bitter They Are" came on the radio. What a marvelous rendition of a beautiful song.

Ray, You can go to Buddy Emmons website and he has some soundbites with the tab as well. Go to buddyemmons.com and click on tab, scroll down and he has some E9th and c6th soundbites from projects he has played on. "Someday Soon' is one of the songs listed on the E9th list.

Grew up in NYC and listened to Clapton as a guitar player. I heard the Blue Judy Collins Album with Someday Soon on it in approximately 1969 or 1970. It absolutley haunted me and the rest is history.......

Its for sure, nobody can spank the plank like Buddy Emmons.

For another nice rendition of "Someday Soon" take a listen to the album "Finally Here" by Jim Cohen the, #7 tune.

#6, "Hot Tikvah" is also very cool. The whole album is very nicely done. I highly recommend it. Available through this forum.

I like to hear Buddy on that one too. It's on our play list and I always enjoy playing it.
