Wow, that was cool, I knew it was Jody before I finished the first tip, the second one sealed it for me.

Jody's had one impressive life/career, but to see it laid out is actually somewhat of an eye opener.

Jody has more talent in his left hand little finger than I'll ever possess in both of my hands. He's a wonderful modest guy whom I hope to meet in person someday, either in this world or the next. I wish there were fewer miles separating us.

Roy A. and others, I think the SGHOF's procedures for nomination are pretty well spelled out in their website... http://www.scottysmusic.com/abouthof.htm .
They have always stuck to those conditions, so a petition probably would not pass muster. Scotty does respond to all nomination letters. You can get the requirements for the letters here on the forum at website... http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum15/HTML/004444.html .
on the first page of the topic...I think it's pretty self-explanatory even though it leaves a lot to be desired with respect to how nominees are selected. The SGHOF Convention Board is made up of several Members who are more than just a little familiar with the personalities who are presented to them...I remind you, from what I can gather, a nominee must be nominated each year, regardless of past letters.
Further I'm not sure, subsequent to some correspondence I have had with members of the board, you would want me to be "The Messenger".. You might never be heard.

Boy, with a resume like that, I would have expected Jody Carver to be inducted into the SGHOF Twice! Does anyone know of a resume any longer or interesting or more versatile than Jody's?
