Well, I suppose ten or eleven wouldn't be a problem. But, as to whether or not the extra ones would do you any good...well, that's another story entirely. I've found that the number of strings, pedals, or knee levers, that a player has actually has very little to do with how well he plays.

I had a '75 D-12 that had 5 knees and they both operated both necks, so it was like having 8.

My Classic SS is full with 8 and 8. The Classic models were larger and therefore will accomodate more stuff. This is more levers than I really need. Some of the changes are used very rarely.
