Hi Carl. Heard about Rocky yesterday. Rocky has diabetes really bad and has lost some toes. He went into the hospital for more surgery and contacted a servere staff infection. He was in pretty bad shape for a while. John Hughey and Randy Beavers went to see him yesterday and seem to think he was doing better. Let's hope so.

Hi Guys: My heart was broken at the Tulsa Convention this past weekend.I went with a 45 rpm record that I was given from my aunts estate of Sawed Off Shotgun, that I was going to get Rocky to autograph for me.When I arrived, I was told that Rocky was in the hospital and that some folks were going to see him that afternoon, so I told them I wanted to go with them.The record was returned to me that afternoon telling me "it's a done deal".Well I would have enjoyed watching Rocky sign the record and guess what.The record was signed with two E's at the end of Caple. So how can I ever be sure Rocky was the one that signed the disc? I was going to have the record matted and framed to put on my music room wall, but now I feel that it is worthless.

Roger. I personally took the record to Rocky's bedside and watched him sign it. I too noticed his spelling and that he had to print his name. I believe it was the best he could do at the time, under the circumstances.
