This is an arrangement I did in tribute to
a couple of my heros which features my Country Gentleman. I dug it out today and love to play at it once in a while.
The steel is C6th and it is 21st fret and above. "One Mint Tulip". http://members.cox.net/loveridehd/ONEMINTTULIP.mp3 |

Nice job Roy. I also have a 1963 C.G. I try to play it once in a while too. It is hard to beat that special sound.

Hi Gary,
Thanks for touching base. My CG is a Gibson
and does not go back as far as your Gretch.
Mine's around 97 I think. |

Hi, Roy. It is a nice tune! I have seen the Chet Atkins video that he and Mark Knopfler were playing the song titled I WILL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS (as I recall.) I guess the song can be a great Lap Steel tune also. I hope you know this song. |

Hi Kuni,
I listen to the Japanese music you sent me and I like much of it. The Koto is a favourite instrument and I am working on the scale.
Yes, I have the Music for "See You In My Dreams" and play it occasionally. I also have an arrangement a friend sent me for the Leavitt tuning.
George, sorry you missed the performance.
I will email it to you. A tune from Chet's Teensville Album,,,which I know you have in your vast library.
Regards,
Roy |
