Another problem for the experts.. I was adjusting the computer resolution and now my screen is black and I do not know how to fix it. HELLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!! Thanks for this forum b0b. |

You could try and start in safe mode, but if the screen is blank, that's not going to do you much good.
I have no idea how to get it back.
One thing you could try - it's a shot in the dark (no pun intended). Remove the video board (if it is a removable type) and boot the system up. You won't know what it's doing but just let it go for a while until disk activity stops. Then power it off, reinstall the video board and try booting up. Maybe windows will detect it and go into a default mode, which will allow you to reset it to the proper settings. |

I can go into dos but I don't know what to do when I get there. Can I take any files from my other computer and install in the bad one? I forgot to mention I am using windows95. |

If you can get into DOS that means your video card is working. Boot into safe mode as Jack said, change your settings back to where they were, and reboot. |

your resoloution is set to high u most likely have it set to 16bit high volor or 32 bit go to save mode start with just 16 colors thenslowley step it up one at a time. until it goes black again then you will know to stay off that one. if i can help email me please |
