Buying new computer monitor guestion?

I am thinking about buying a new Compaq computer, a model 7PL290, 1.1 GHz. My question is I already have a 17" HP monitor, will it work with Compaq, and will speakers connect the same? Help

Absolutely Everything will work fine including your printer and scanner too.
dont forget to install divers for your old printer and scanner etc!
