I need some help to find out if this pedal is wired in the way it`s supposed to.

It has a battery powered buffer and a tone wheel on the side. It is acting like a volume control instead of a tone control. Turning up the "tone" gives a lot of extra volume.

The pedal acting like it should otherwise.

Can anyone help me figure this out?

Thanks, Dag

I have two 6122R volume pedals ...

That is an extra VOLUME control on the "R" models ... not a tone control.

They were offered so you could fine tune your "come on" point ... and have added control of your volume, simply by reaching down and turning the knob ... rather than re-setting your amp.

They must have not been too popular, since they were only available for a few years ... the TONE model 6122 was more popular.

I bought two ... cause I really liked being able to set my "come on" spot in different situations ...

Thats just one reason I love my Hilton ... same kinda "come on" control.

Anyway, I bet you could easily add a capacitor to it, re-configure it abit and convert the additional volume to a tone control.
