Okay, finally made the plunge and found an Evans LV pre-amp at a good enough price that I can afford to experiment with running it with my TubeFex and I'm not sure what to do next!

1-Do any of you guys use these two units in conjunction?

2-If so, how are you hooking them up?

3-Once hooked up, are you editing your EQ settings out of the programs in the TubeFex, thereby just using it as an effects unit?

4-What are some good settings to start with? This is the low voltage model, and I'll be running a MosValve 1500 with it.

Any help that can be provided would be appreciated. I know the TubeFex IS a pre-amp, I just want better control over my sound if I can get it. It seems like with the TubeFex it's pretty hit or miss and I can never seem to dial it in like I want.

Thanks for the help!

Forrest,
Run your Tubefex in the effects loop of the
Evans. I left my patches on the Tubefex
as they were and adjusted the Evans to taste.
