New Evans Amp (Post 2)

Just wanted to let those know who answered my questions on a previous post that my new Evans is DOING THE JOB!! After being Highly disappointed when I first received it, I find it to be EXACTLY what I was looking for. I compared it to several amps at a local music store and the others CANNOT hold up to the warmth and the tones of the Evans.

I am not crazy about the reverb unit in the Evans...I find it a little noisy plus I had to turn it on 7 or 8 to get the desired reverb, that didn't leave me much room to play with...but an RV 3 eliminated the problem. I'm looking forward to recording a Christmas project with it in the studio next week.

I NOW recommend the Evans SE200 HIGHLY...just play with it a couple of days, it will come around!!
