Still playing with my new Pod - some guy on the Net says it misses a few things when 'modeling' amps, so he's put doubts in my mind... Anyone got any thoughts on the two small SansAmp direct boxes?

Thanks...

I've played and recorded with the SansAmp boxes, and I prefer the POD. I've heard people sounding great through guitar and the SansAmp, but I found it lacked dynamics with my steel.

How 'bout the new Johnson stomp box, made to look like a POD, ever try one of those?

I just bought the Johnson J-Station. I have compared it to the POD, and I think the J-Station has a little better quality effects section. I'm going to give it a workout this week, and I'll let everyone know what I think about it then.

I'm planning on using it live to the PA board this weekend... I'm tired of carrying amps and racks!
