I am using an Ernie Ball Volume Pedal going into a Boss GX-700 processor into a Music Man Tube Amp(HD-130). I have started getting loud pops when using the volume pedal but no problems when I set the pedal at one level and don't touch it. Any Ideas out there?

You can spray the Pot with contact cleaner and that should get rid of the popping for a while. You will eventually need to replace the pot; which is only about 20 or so dollars. Have fun.

It's probably the pot, but if not maybe you have an intermittent cord thats shorting out or something when you move your foot.

Thanks for the tips. I tried cleaning the pot with a spray cleaner and that seemed to do the trick. Thanks Again, John
