As I stated before ... I'm very happy with this rotary speaker unit... true to the real Leslie sound.

I've been experimenting with the low rotor simulator and wanted to add that it too, is very good sounding....

The low rotor simulator out... is plugged into a separate guitar amp...

This makes the unit very portable...

The unit is very well designed and sounds great.

Bobby,
When I got mine a couple years ago, it was
about $550. They're probably a bit higher
now. They're the BEST.

Retail price is $600 for the newer Pro 3T.
It has a titanium driver for the rotary speaker... and a built in 40 watt amp with tube pre amp.

The portable Leslie 303 also has a low rotor simulator... but has a 12 inch speaker built into it's cab with two solid state amplifiers. Weights 110 lbs and costs $1400.

Personally I believe the low rotor simulators sound better for steel then the older Leslie 147 and 122 revolving bass boxes.

I've never played through a Leslie 303... it may be worth mentioning that Leslie does have a patent on it's famous sound.

I've been getting a very good tone with my lap steel using my Laney Acoustic electric as my main amp... direct out of the Laney into the Motion Pro 3T... and then taking the low rotor simulator signal down into my Fender Concert amp. When I switch over from steel to Dobro I just switch the Concert amp onto standy... since I don't need the extra deep range for my amplified acoustic sound.

It really is a nice set up.
