......and I consider myself to be one of the BIGGEST Commander Cody fans to ever walk the earth. Any of you California guy have any details? All this article said was that he committed suicide. Any newspaper articles, funeral announcements, obit, whatever.

Joey, Lance Dickerson was the original drummer for the Lost Planet Airmen and worked with them throughout their hey-day. He was one of my favorite drummers. I met him one time in the late 80's playing with the Commander in a now defunct joint here in PA called The Hearth. He had his drums packed in what looked like garbage bags! He set up and duct taped a cowbell to his bass drum. It looked like he fished this kit out of a dumpster on the way to the gig! It never made a difference! He sounded great. I was really sorry to read this on the Fuller Up Dead Rock Star Site. Please submit any and all info that you can dig up.

Hi Robbie,
I was editing my post, and accidentally deleted it. Sorry.

I misunderstood your original post.
www.commandercody.com shows they're in WV tonight.

Robbie,
Perhaps the title of your post,
"I never even heard about this!............"
is not attracting the attention.

I'll take the liberty to rename it.
