To those of you who requested that I send them a schedule of when the K-mart commercial featuring "It's Such a Pretty World Today" was playing on TV, I apologize, but I never got one either. The ad was pulled after only being played for 2 weeks. A real bummer since they said it was scheduled to play for 7 months. But, oh well. At least it got played a little bit. It was fun while it lasted.

At the same time there was an ad featuring Don Walser doing Cattle Call. Anything is better then those humen shopping lists that
replaced them

| To all you Wynn fans. The heck with KMART. Wynn was a leader in the West Coast Country Sound, along with Buck..If it wasn't for Wynn..there probably would be NO HAG. He gave Hag practicly his first playing job at the Nashville Nevada Club in Vegas 1962. And the GREAT Steeler Ralph Mooney (writer of CRAZY ARMS)He kept Ralph till Waylon picked him up in Texas. So even though KMART played Wynn out .He's still got a "BIG BIG LOVE" in my heart. Wynn..YOUR THE GREATEST..as Ralph Crandon used to say!!!! |

I think you're correct for the most part, but I think Hag kept Moon until the 2nd time Moon stole the tour bus and headed home.

| The way I heard it was, Hag was Wynn's bass player. Ralph was his steel player and at one time Wynn asked him to come up with another way of playing so they would have a distinctive sound. That was the birth of the 'west coast' sound. Wynn had some pretty severe substance abuse problems and couldn't keep everyone working so Ralph took up employment with Buck Owens. |
