40's model, with the colored fret Roman numeral markers; and the tone control marked with chimes (and I forgot the other two designations).

With matching speaker would even be more desirable, but not mandatory. I would prefer that every thing be original including the blue lined case. Must be in relatively good shape for its age.

If it was a 7 stringer, it would be super, but I will settle for a 6 stringer.

Carl-I had a black and white National New Yorker ,before I got my D8 Birdseye Vega.

It was just a great sound, power and handy with that tone control switch. Great Guitar....al

Thank you so much Crowbar. That is precisely what I am looking for. I bought one of these in 1946. It had a beautiful tone and I was sorry the day I ever sold it. Nostalgia plays a large part in my wanting to get one.

That's the same kind of a steel I used to own. It got lost when our house burnt in'68. Beautifull machine.
