Here is a lightweight, great playing, great sounding All-Pull Steel. It is black and is real easy to setup and tinker with. It could use some buffing and cosmetic TLC. Color is black. Case is a little beat up but still very functional. Ther is a lot of controversy surrounding these guitars as they preceded EMCI, GFI and Carter Steels.

This is a great guitar. I play a Waco MCI very similar to this one except it has aluminum necks and a half-stop changer finger on the E9 side. Must be slightly later. It has the globe logo, too.

Sweet axe!

Guys You need to take a good look at this diamond in the ruff. This guitar has Bill Lawrence 705 pickups on it as does mine. Best sounding guitar I own.Now If I could just figure out how to combine tone and sustain of the MCI/EMCI guitars with the playabilty of My Mullen I be smilin' all the way to the bank.
Oh By the way Bummmmpp

I was hoping someone would make a reasonable offer. It is a nice guitar and great for taking to places i dont want to take my shiny push pull. I am sort of torn as to sell it, but now I have a 1 year old son and I need to build a fence to keep out the coyotes and wolves.

Burton is right Guitar is worth between 1500.00 and 1800.00 in top condition .This one is a little less than top condition, should bring at least 1200.00 to 1600.00. A little cleaning and buffing and she'll bring 1800.00 or more on ebay.
You need to rmember that the pickups alone can bring as much as 75 to 100.00 each on the Forum.

Hi Rand,
I am just trying to get you to name your price. I have a MCI steel exactly like the one you are selling and I like mine very much. I have seen a MCI steel similar to yours that sold on the Forum for $750. What a instrument is worth and what you can get are two different things. My original question is how much is Rand selling it for?

Carl - so if you cant make a serious offer then i take it that this guitar is only worth 500-750 to you. If I wanted to find the market value i would have put her on ebay. That would tell me real quick. Instead, i was hoping to give her a good home. Offer her up to steelers at the forum. But everytime I put any item on here price or not I get so low-balled it is ridiculous. For instance a 66 blackface pro reverb that people tell me isnt worth much cuz it is a 66. So when i ask 800 for it without speakers the guys tell me it is worth only 300-400. They claim they dont want or need it but that is what they will give me. So do they go and flip it to the guitar center. But when I go to guitar center in Hollywood, I see japanese businessmen in suits lining up to take theses home at $1800 a pop(with speakers of course). If someone was to say "Rand how about $1550?" i would say great and give $50 to BoB.

Hey Burton
my keyboard playing buddy is at Denton finishing his degree. North Texas College? I guess. If you ever need a smokin piano player he would be the one. He is young and a tad green, but boy does he have Big Ears.
his name is Peter Farness

Thanks for the tip, Rand. I've got a project coming up that might need some ivory.

Also, I might have a buyer for your MCI. Let's keep this puppy where it belongs-- in Texas! I'll know in a day or two and I'll drop you a line when I hear from him.

Someone out there is looking for a guitar, but doesn't want to spend $3000 dollars.

I *love* my MCI Waco. You will never regret this purchase, but you'll regret passing it up.

Rand,

You still have not named a price....
I offered you 1k for it and you turned me down.
I am interested now in what you do want for it....
the guitar does need some TLC and is not in the best shape.....AND it is 20 years old or more.

Name your price bro.
