I have a Dekley D12 owned by Bill Stroud of BJS Bars.

9 Floors and 9 Knees! Now when is the last time you saw that?

This is an awesome Guitar!

That guitar looks a lot like the one Buddy Cage used to play before it was stolen. I believe his was "technically" not a Dekley, but I wonder if he would be interested...

Jim Smith who worked for Dekley emailed me this Saturday, we talked about this guitar. He had hand in on that one and I believe it was one of the last ones built.

The one Dan is selling is an H&S Custom Signature model Dekley, as is my own personal D-12. Larry Hilt and I did most of the design for the SlimLine models. BTW, H&S stands for Hilt & Smith.

After I left the company and moved to Texas, Larry continued with his own design modifications and made a few Hilt's, of which Buddy Cage's was one.

Thanks for the info, you answered another questioned asked of me which I didn't have the answer to.
I got to hand it to you guys, I have never heard a sweeter sounding steel. Jim you know Bill as well.
If Bill has it, it's going to be great. A fine example of exceptional craftsmanship on your part and the taste on Bill's part.
It's a great piece of Steel History as well.
