The book talks about a 4 ohm, an 8 ohm, 2-8 ohms, and a 16 ohm, but no mention of 2 -4 ohm cabs.
Can I safely run 2 1501s with it?
Thanks, d

One answer:

"Thanks for the reply. Quilter actually told me it would be fine to run the amp this way. "

Hi Dave,
I have a 4 ohm speaker and a 8 ohm speaker and had a similar question about running both at same time so I contacted Quilter. Pat responded with this:

"The power output is optimized for 4 and 8 ohms but the amp’s impedance is “forgiving” and your 2.6 ohm load will play OK. The amp will set itself for 4 ohms when you use both jacks. It won’t matter which speaker plugs into which jack when using both, but if you use only the 4 ohm speaker it should go in the upper, 4-ohm jack, and likewise, a solo 8-ohm speaker should use the 8-ohm jack."

I'm assuming both your speakers are 4 ohm each so you may get a different reply, but I think If you contact Quilter he will be happy to respond with advise. He got back to me within a couple of days.
